TO THE EDITOR. Sm, —Your correspondent " St. Clair" is quite right in being disappointed with the amount of sand tha,t has been brought back with the late north-easterly winds. A certain amount did collect, but was all swept away with t.ho south-westerly that followed. In any case it takes much longer under favourable conditions for the sand to accumulate than it did. liberate tlie sand: and you would have a different story.—l am, oto. , March 5. Lover of N»ru;v3.
