CAPTAIN DICKSON'S FLIGHT
On account of the unfavourable state of tho weather yesterday, Captain Dickson was unable to carry out any of tho largo number of flights that had been arranged. If the weather has improved to-day, though at an early hour this morning there was no sign of a olearanco, flights will be made from Mr Walter Blackio's paddock, Mosgiel, all day. Those who wero disappointed in not obtaining a flight yesterday will, upon production of their tickets, b© taken up to-day. Much interest wss evinced at the passing of the aeroplane over Palmereton about midday on Thursday. A movement is on foot (our correspondent writes) to have it stop on tho return journey, and this has been promised if 50 passengers for flights can be secured. In tho course of a few hours the names of about 40 prospective fliers wero obtained 1 . The residents of Puxakanuj were (slates our correspondent) provided with a magnificent view of Captain Dickson as ho travelled south in liia aeroplane on Thursday.
