PLAZA THEATRE

The management of the Plaza Theatre is indefatigable in providing its patrons with new and iresh interests, and tho programme which received its initial screening yesterday is no exception to this established rule. As the "headline" attraction it contains 'a drama entitled "Ono® to Every Man," the story'being based on a nov el of tho same name by Larry Jj/vcps. The plot centres around tho life history of a young man who wages bitter fight against a tainted inheritance, in the shape of a passionate craving for drink, andi who, when tho moment corncs to decide .for good or evil, is strong enough to win through. Of the influences whioh tend to have a beneficial effect on his life, by far tho greatest is the love and 1 trust of a young girl. The picture shows all the characters in tho book, and it also drives home the moral witli vivid forcefulness. Tho outstanding incidents of the talo are all preserved, and are presented with a diegroo of realism attainable only on tho motion picturo screen. The leading partg'are splendidly presented by Jack Sherrill and Mabel Witiiee, and the picture is full of interest during the whole of its six reels. The programme also includes tho first series of the dominion "Travelogue," the Now Zealand views being of no less interest or beauty than those taken in other places. A good comedy and one or two other films are a'eo includedi in the series, whioh will bo repeated l to-day.
