THEFTS FROM A HOSPITAL
THREE SISTERS CONVICTED,
(Peb United Press Association.) OHRISTCHURCH, January 6.
Thrco sisters named Tinnelly, all of whom had been employed at tho Christ church Hospital a3 wardemaid3, were charged with having stolen goods valued at £11 is, the property of the Hospital Board and another v/ardsmaid. The evidence given was that for somo years thieving at the hospital had been a somewhat serious matter. The accused had been caught stealing, but it was not suggested that they were the only culprits. The two elder girls were ordered to eome up for sentence when called upon, and to report to tho • probation officer weekly for 12 months, and also pay certain expenses, while the younger girl was ordered to report to the Roman Catholic priest in her district once a week for a year.
