With their present batch of guests they had exoeeded the first thousand, and the thousandth boarder would receive a week's board free. In the evening a ooncert and dance wore held in the hall, whioh was packed, while many occupied seats cm the grass outside. An excellent pi-offrammo was supplied, the T>erformer3 including several well-known Dunedin amateurs.
