(Received Jan. 2, at 8.25 p.m.) Mr Daniels (Secretary of the Navy) disclosed tho fact that Admiral Decker, who refused a Naval Cross on the grounds that he was indirectly rewarded for his services in keeping Spain out of the war, was dismissed from his Madrid post in consequence of the American Ambassador's representations. Mr Daniels alleged that Admiral Decker thought himself the real Ambassador, and acted accordinalv.—A and N.Z. Cable. NEW YORK, December 31. (Received Jan. 2, at 8.25 p.m.) The Evening Sun says that President Wilson has definitely decided not to bo a candidate for a third Presidential term — A. and N.Z. Cable.
