LONDON. December 31. The by-election for Bromley (rendered vacant through Mr H. W. Forstor's elevation to the peerage) resulted:
Col. C. James (Coalition Unionist) 11,148 F. Hodges (Labour) 10 077 —A. and N.Z. Cable. '" '
[In the 1018 election Mr Forster (Coalition Unionist) polled 16,840 votes to Mr H. Knight's (Liberal) 4339.]
