The spectacular find sccnic pi eta ro entitled " Tiio Land We Livo In " will commcnco a season of six clays arid six nights at the Empiro Theatro to-day at 2 p.m. Tho excellence of tho photography in tho dominion-produced film, " Tho Land Wo Livo In," is by no means tlio only feature that commends it to publio notice. The film occupied one year in tho making, and iirvolved a trip through tho dominion from the North Caps to the Bluff. It ta.kes the. spectators down the lovely Wanganui lliver, ii|) tho slopes of magnificent Mount Egmont, shows them tho springs and geysers of wonderful Rotorua, and takes t.hem through the gorgeous Bailor .and Otira Gorges. A feature of tho ovening sessions will bo tho playing of appropriate music, specially written for tliis picture. The aftornoon sessions all next week will bo attended by pupils of tho various schools, large numbers having signified their intention of being present. Tho box plan is on view.at tho Bristol, and no booking fee will bo charged.
