THE.GREEN ISLAND BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVES PUBLIC iNO.llCfc. that it proposes to RAISE A SPECIAL LOAN of £1000, at tlv- "f. r) 5i per centum per annum, for the PURCHASE OP FREEHOLD LAND in the '.LUiWlaillD ol HI lila jjorOUgn ol I Ureen Island, which load shall ba used as~a Soldiers' Memorial Recreation Ground AND TO MAKE an annually recurrintr SPECIAL RATE of Three Halfpence in Pound on the Annual Value of all Rateable Property in the said Borough as security for the said Loan, and tho Interest and Sinking Fund in connection therewith. Tho whole of the Loan is to bs Repayable on tho Bth day of October, 1840. A Sinking Fund of £ per centum per annum will bo provided. It is proposed to pay out of the Loan moneys the cost of raising the Loan and tho first year's interest and rinking fund on tho Loan. PUBLIC NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that on tho sth day of OCTOBER 1919, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. a POLL of the Ratepayers of tho Borough of Green Island will bo taken upon the proposal to Borrow the sum of £1000 in terms of this notice.
