RUGBY. Great interest is being taken in the match to be played at the Caledonian Ground this afternoon between Alkambra and University A. With the strenuous time the students have been having the past few uays AJiambra supporters are ooniident that tlao Red-and-Blaoks wili put up a good gamo against the students. As both teams play open football, the gamo should be well worth witnessing. At Oarisbrook the Kaikorai and University B will meet. This should also provide a good exhibition of Rugby. The University aro a fast toam, and expect to pus up a good game. At Bishopscourt Pirates will meet Dunedio, and on the North Ground Union will play Southern; whLe the match Zingari v. Port Chalmers will be played at Port. As a curtain-raiser to the match on the Caledonian Groundi, the Third Grade match Pirates v. Xaieri Rovers will be played. As both these teams are running level for the Third Grade flag, the match is expected to provido an interesting contest. On the Asylum Ground the Primary Schools will play a seven-a-fiide tournament, which should be very interesting. The winning team will bo presented with medals.

Emergency: Fairmaid (University). The team will leave Dunedin by motor car on Tuesday morning, at 8.30, from the Empire Buildings. The following will represent tiie Otago Boys' Hign Sohool in a tournament at Timam next week Jackson, Keiha., Borfchwick, Taylor (captain), Townsend, Shand, Hill, Tapper, Watson, Arthur, Allan, Bell, Calder, Aiarslin; emergencies—Walden, Swift, Shepnerd, Booth. The team will travel by motor to-day, and will play Timaru on Monday. Tho other match will be between Southland Boys' High Sohool and Christchurck Boys' High School, 'l'he winners and losere will play olf on Thursday.
