"A glorious success," was the manner in which tho supervisor of manual education (Mr J. P. Ivalai.'ghe.r) described, at a meetin,g of the Auckland Education Board, tho recent classes for farmers at tho Raiakurn State Farm. There were in attendance throughout the week 68 farmers from all parts of tho-Cprovince, in addition to 18 returned soldiers and 15 cadets, who attended the lectures and demonstrations. Owing to tho faot. of tho department granting tho use of the nowly-erected returned soldiers' building, 45 of the farmercs wero accommodated at tho farm. "I have never mot a keener or more enthusiastio body of men." said Mr Kalaugher. "They listened to tho lectures with tho greatest Lite rest, and afterwards plied tho speakers with questions."
