Y.W.C.A. CAMPAIGN
A meeting of the committee in connecUon with the Y.W.C.A. Building Fund was told yesterday afternoon, Mr J. J. Clark presiding. Ifc was resolved that 1 sub-oonimitteo consisting of tho chairman 1110 Messrs Morris axid Waters be appointed to make ammgranents for country onganisatwn. Tho chairman reported that a most successful meeting had been held at Mosgiel Ihe project was most enthusiastically taken up, and a strong committee, under tho presidency of tho Mayoress, was set up to iniwaas tlio whole of tho Taieri district 11» hon. treasurer reported that so far £2500 has been received in cash and promises. .Arrangements aro now boing made Ear the canvass of the city blocks, and it is Sloped to conclude this canvass during tho next few weeks.
