"FREEDOM OF THE WORLD."

Said to be the greatest arouser of patriotic enthusiasm that-has yet been projected upon the screen, "For the Freedom of the World," the big Goldwyn super-feature to bo installed at His Majesty's Theatre on Saturday next, is said also to present the greatest screen reproduction of a battlefield \ve have had. In addition, there are, according to unanimous report, human touches in tho- individual story that cannot fail to wring a drop of blood from the stoniest heart. There are two big climaxes to the play—one is the emotional climax of the heart story, the other is the great diapason of the mammoth battle scene. As to the latter a whole section of battle-front in France has been reproduced, aud a mimic battle stage-managed by officers who took part in the real adventure, is shown progressing over this whole front during the night period. This is the first time the camera has shown an engagement by night, and proof of its intrinsic merit and fidelity is contained in tho plaudits of the many returned men who have viewed the production and voted the scene "the real thing." The human climax is that in which a young husband is faced with tho dire necessity of himself shooting his wife to spare her from facing a firing party. Thi 3 picture is one of 8000 feet, and there are several good "supports," notably a beautiful romance of Franco entitled "Joan of Arc, of Loos " The season will commence with a matinee performance on Saturday, with a second session cn Saturday night. Tho picture will be shown on Monday night too, and on Tuesday afternoon and evening. The box plans will open at tho Bristol this morning.
