— Lord Lcvorhulme, one of tho greatest British employers of labour, thinks tho world will soon bo working on the basis of _ a 12-hour day for machinery, but two shifts of six hours each for human kind. In a recent speech in London he said he oven farms would bo worked in two shifts of six hours each. His idea is that the two shifts will alternate morninir and afternoon work, and that every other week each shift will have a holidav from Friday night to Monday morning.
