PEACE CELEBRATIONS
DIFFICULTY OF A COMMON DAY. (Pee United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 27. Sir James Allen said no reply had been received from the British Government as to when it was going to hold its peace celeb nations, and tho dominion celebrations would take place as arranged the signing of the preliminary peace. This decision was not unalterable, but the trouble was that the Imperial Government mifht fix a time for their summer, and New Zealand winter. -This was the difficulty of having a common day for celebration all over the Empire
