DUNEDIN STOCK EXC3IANGK bales of P. and O. deferred stock were transacted yesterday at £385 and £394 too closing- quotations being £394 and £397* buyers and sellers respectively. A buyer of ordinary Huddart-Parkcr shares offered £1 18s for them, but tho best sollini* quotation was £2. Thero waa no offer for Westport Coals, which were on the market at £1 11s 9d. Mosg-iel Woollen shares were m firm demand at £5, with a seller at £5 4s. Mining; shares did not attract much attention. Waihis were on offlor at £2 Is 9d and Talismans at 8s 9d, but thero was no buyer of either lino. Sales: P. and O.
