A foster child is a child who is nourished or brought np by on© who is not its parent Will Mr Thompson state thai the Moderate Leagne has not received financial nourishment and rapport from "the' Trade" or any member of "the Trade?" \ I hope Mr Thompson will not regard this as an impertinent qnestdon, and as he is an old friend I caution him to be very careful in his reply. I should also bo obliged if Mr Thompson would state who are the local president and the execufcivo of the Moderate League.— I am, etc., J. B. Watebs, ..
