Thornton (20 not out) and M'Farlane (18) were the only batsmen to make double figure scores. DickeL M'Neill and John Haig were the most/successful bowlers. James Haig (17), Anderson (12), Chapmen (13), and Holder (13) also batted well. Grigg, who returned from the vu ?* y a fortni gnt ag°> was in good form with the ball, and secured the excellent average of four wickets for 27 runs.
