A REQUEST FROM INVERCARGILL.
(Peb Untte» Pbess Association.) INVERCAjRGILL, January 23. The Invercargill Chamber of Commerce has written to the General Manager of Railways, stating that as many men were released from the camps recently the chamber presses for a definite pronouncement from him on the prospect of the through express from Christctrarcli to Invercargill being reinstated. It urges that this matter should receive first consideration in tho restoration of the railway services.
