PROVISION FOR SOLDIERS' VOTES.

(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, December 20.

An Extraordinary Gazette fixes Thursday, April 10. for the date of the Licensing Referendum. Regulations are published for taking the votes of soldiers in camps, hospitals, etc,, also those out of Now Zealand. For those in England and Europe special polling places will be nrovic'cd, and the High Commissioner will cable the results to New Zealand. An official in Egypt, to be appointed by tho High Commissioner, will conduct the poll for all men in the East, and Will cable the- -result. Arrangements have also been made for the men in Samoa and those who may be oil board ship. In these two enses the ballot boxes will be. sealed and the votes counted on arrival in New Zealand.
