MELBOURNE, December 19. (Received Dec. 19, at 8.35 p.m.) In the House of Representatives Mr Glynn (Minister for Home Affairs and Territories), replying to questions, stated that a serious disturbance occurred at Port Darwin on "Wednesday, .-i crowd gathered at Dr Gilrath's office, demanded an account of his work during the past five years, _ and presented certain resolutions. Dr Gilrnth addressed the mob, and declined to accede to the resolutions. A melee followed, in which Dr Gilruth was knocked down. Steps had been taken to maintain order.
