KAITANGATA NOTES.

The Kaitangata district is now almost clear of influenza, there being only one case reported during the past few days The funds of the Kaitangata Employees' Benefit Society have been reduced to a very low ebb in consequence of the heavy claims mado by members who were affected by the iecent epidemic. The New Zealand Coal and Oil Company donated £100 to the fund, and members of the society are at paying a levy of 4s per fortnight, ln .^ dt [ ltlon *° tne ordinary contributions, until tho funds are built up again. Assistance has also been sought from the Government.
The increasing popularity of Port Molyneux as a seaside holiday resort is clearly evidenced by the difficulty experienced by holiday-makers in securinjr cribs for residence during the holiday season. Each day carries its number of families to the port, and this season promises to become a record one for the number of visitors.
