A COURT-MARTIAL RECALLED.

TO THE EDITOR. Sin, —I quite agTee with "A Soldier's Father" as to the lack of judgment shoivn by the Defence Department in the selection, of men to deal with our soldiers. With reference to the unfortunate soldier who was sentenced to two years' imprisonment for accusing a medical officer of drunkenness. this officer being identical with a. person against whom a rule nisi in a divorce suit was pronounced by the Chief Justice on the ground of habitual drunkenness and ill-treatment of his wife, permit me to suggest that if the Defence Department fails in its duty to review the decision of tho court-martial a petition that it should do so should bo circulated and presented to the Minister of Defence. Our soldiers ore_ worthy of fairplay.—l am, etc., November 24. Lover of Justice.
