THE FINAL FIGHTING-. LONDON, November 3. British-Italian official: The Tenth Army has reached the lino o£ Villotma. Praturlone, the Meduna River, eastward of Pordenone, San Quirino, and Aviauo, The advance continues. The prisoners total 16,000.

The 48th British Division on the Aeiagd Plateau took 470 prisoners and 13 guns. Italian official: On Sunday the whole Italian front was moving forward against the first formidable Austrian lines, and had already passed between Astico and Tonale, making active progress towards Riva, Roveredo was entered, and the enemy, hard pressed, was retiring from Pasubio and Col Santo. We passed Monte Cimpomolon and Monte Verona. Our advance in the Sugana Valley was rapid. Our column sent to encircle various centres in the Cismon and Cordevole Valleys reached their objectives. Our cavalry, impetuously charging and surrounding them, destroyed a body of enemy artillery westward of Tauriano, taking 300 prisoners and capturing a field battery. Our cavalry also captured prisoners, guns, and much booty at Spilimbergo. British-Italian official: The Tenth Army reached the line of the Tagliamento. Amongst the troops crossing the river at several places was the 332 nd. American Regiment, forming part of the 31st Italian Division. The 48th British Division occupied Levico, talcing during the last 48 hours over 20,000 prisoners, also capturing several hundred guns.—A. and N.Z. and Renter.

(Received Nov. 6, at 1.20 a.m.) Three battalions of Bersaglieri disembarked at Trieste. The fleet entered, with all flags flying. There was no resistance to the landing. The Italian vessels are •unloading foodstuffs for the benefit of the population. The Austrian authorities fled some days ago.—Reuter.
