OTAGO AND SOUTHLAND WOMEN'S PATRIOTIC ASSOCIATION. The monthly quota of 8000 dominion gift parcels is now being packed at the Eirly Settlors' Hall, where workers aro wolcome daily. The public is invited to look in any afbsrnoon this week to see the gift parcels which are sent every month to our soldiers at the front. I Litter, rabbit, sugar, sweets, condensed mill:, moat, and tobacco are the principal 1 articles used in tho packing this month. Although Saturday's weathsr spoiled the Maori Gift Fund collection, the committee expects to have slightly over £100 to hand over to the Ofcakou Branch of the Lady Liverpool and Mrs Pomare Fund. The executive wishes to thank all those who assisted at the stalls and all those who sent donations. Milton' Branch forwarded £2; Berwick Branch, 10s; and Kindergarten, Union street (per Miss Crawley), 15s. Tho winner of the guessing competition for cake ie Miss Bayley, 53 Rureell street.
