The picture presents clear-cut character studies, throbs with conflicting emotions, and tho seascape and rural settings could not easily be surpassed. Absorbing in its human interest, the production holds the attention throughout, notwithstanding the fact that the brightest moments in the lives of tho principal characters aro rounded off by tho darkest tragedy.
