Tho Albany Street . School Habitation of the Young Helpers' League held its halfyearly box-opening on July 11, and in consequence the secretary was enabled to hand to Mr Peter Barr £6 9s to bo sent to headquarters in London. Mrs Kineton Parlccs, who will lecture on "Women and War" on August 1, speaks from personal knowledge of the splendid service rendered by women r,nd girls in England and France. The towns in Franco are full of workers in the Women's Auxiliary Army Corps, and girls are being; sent in hundreds every week to France to release men for tho trenches. In one luadquarters alone there arc 2500 women employed in office work. To these girls and women the Blue Triangle is beeonims: as familiar a sign as is tho Red 'lrianglo to our boys. Tho largest cantoon is in tho offices of the Ministry of Munitions, whera, under the Blue Triangle sign, 1500 women are server! daily. In lonely camps not very far from the firing line W.A. A.C.'s have been introduced and work very hard and for long hours. The Bin-? Trinnjrle is meeting the needs of girls, and the Y.W.O.A. is interpreting Christ in terms of daily life. To erect and equip one of those huts is tho object of tho lecture by Mrs Parkes.
