A string was attached to the trigger, tlio other end boing round the man's foot. Albert Jenkins, aged seven years, was accidentally shot dead bv his brother, aged 15 years, at Waikuku this afternoon. The elder boy was standing at the back door of the homo with a> loaded gun, intending to shoot tparrows. As ho was turning round the. trigger caught a button on his jacket, and the gun was discharged, the shot striking his brother, who was sft away, in the face. Death was instantaneous.
