PLAZA THEATRE
Chief among several good pictures screened for the first time at the Plaza Theatre is "Sowers and Reapers." It is one of the best of the Metro productions, and possesses very attractive qualities. The picture is a lengthy one, yet the interest of the spectator never flags. The story will probably touch many of the parents who may see it, simply because it portrays natural emotions, at least in a general way, and that is the true key to touching publio sympathy. The story_ is not of an extraordinary character, but is on good rational lines. It is not necessary to follow tho details of the plot; indeed, if that were done, the only -filing left to the publio would be a mere illustration of what was already known. It is out of the unknown that hope or dread may arise, and in the story of other lives the interest is merely maintained because there is hope, or dread, for the future happiness of the actually existent individual, or, in tho case of a picture story, of the imaginary being. Outside " Sowers and Reapers' there is shown an episode in "Tne Girl and the Game" and a Rex Beach Gazette.
