Tho last miniature riflo shooting match of the first round was filed on Monday nigiit between jS'orth End and Uayorsham teams, and resulted in a win for.the lonncr by 663 points to 631 points. The 'monthly meeting of the Caversham School Committee was held on Monday evening. Mr R. H. Todd presided. The headmaster reported that tho average attendance was 638. The Visiting Committee's report showed that the work of the school was being carried out satisfactorily and that tho health of the children was very food Several minor repairs were referred to the Works Committee. A circular from the Education Board advising that a £ for £ subsidy was available on all moneys raised locally for the school library was read. It was decided to obtain a report from the headmaster as to the state of the school library. Accounts amounting to £9 were passed for payment.
