AMUSEMENTS.
Olive Thomas graccs the leading picture showing at tho Queen's Theatre just now. It is entitled "Betty Takes a Hand," and is a pretty and original story. Patrons will also see a Gaumont Graphic, a further instalment of " The Neglected Wife " serial, and most interesting views of Auckland as seen from an aeroplane. ''The Threads of Fate" and "The Girl and the Game" were the chief attractions at the Plaza Theatre yesterday. TTiere wero good audiences at each session, and the programme was much enjoyed. "The Awakening" is the principal picture now beinjj shown at Everybody's Theatre, the notable artists, Montague Love and Dorothy Kelly, being featured. The story is a remarkable one. and must be seen to_ be appreciated. The photograph and acting are of the highest order, and the supports, which include the thirteonth cha.pter of " Lucille Love," a Topical Budget, and two comics, aro good. ENTERTAINMENT AT KMKORAI SCHOOL. Arrangements are now well in hand for a big entertainment to be given by the Kaikorai School children in their grounds and gymnasium this afternoon and evening. The programme will start promptly at 6.45, to enable all the items finishing in good time. The iumble sale and cookery competitions will commence at 3 p.m.
