During the period under review this item was inr-ro.ised by £190 12s 10d. and now stands at £714 16s Sd. Another matter which must bo noted is the comparatively largo amount owing for unions' subscriptions. Altogether tho position is such that the remaining liquid funds of the union will require to be carefully husbanded in order to prevent further depletion. With regret the conrmittoe has acr-ain to comment on the fact that the New" South Wales and Queensland Unions have not yet repaid the amount of £362 3s lid advanced in 1913. As mentioned in previous reports the sum of £96 was allocated to various unions for the encouragement of school foot, ball.
