(Received Feb. 14, at 8.5 p.m.) In tho House of Commons Mr Bonar Law stated that last year 820,000 men wero added to tho British army and 730,000 men and 800,000 women placed in employment. Fifty thousand tons of cereals and 3,000,000 tons of potatoes had been added to our production. A million additional acres were ploughed last year, and 1,200,000 more acres wero already ploughed this year. Tho wheat stocks of tho United Kingdom in December exceeded those of tho previous December by 2,000,000 quarters.
