Tho Plaza Theatre is maintaining its reputation S3 a place of entertainment of a good class. Another change of programme was mado yesterday, " One of Many" ■being the chief film screened. Those appearing in the casto axe well known as picture artists, and, with a capable mechanician in charge of the camera, tho results have been entirely satisfactory. " One of Many" contains certain happenings in tho life of Shirley Bryson, who to dissipate all doubt ae to sex, ia a woman, and a young and attractive one at that. Shirley and her sister are the sole support of their mother, and tho former is employed in a manicure establishment, A patron of the manicure shop is a woaltlry man named Wilfred Templeton, with whom Shirley becomes confidential. As a result there are certain happenings, and the conditions of Shirley's mother are changed. Shirley then writes to her sister that she is married. The scene is changed. Shirley, has become a cabaret singer, and meets the son of Wilfred Templetcn. This young man—better than his father—loves the girl honestly, and h,er nature becomes changed. Tho two marry, and when the highly respectable parent meets his daughter-in-law and there is mutual recognition a powerfully carried out scene is witnessed. Tho production ia undoubtedly a good one. Supporting " One of Many' are a very amusing Drew comedy, " Tho Past," a Christie Comedy, "Oh For a Wife," and one of tho latest Gaumont Graphics.
