J.; Powell, K E.;- Yo-uijg, A. . ■ Private John Harris, died of wounds, wan the son of Mr Adam Harris, of Saddle Hill, Mosgiel. He enlisted with the Twenty-fifth Reinforcements, and was 29 years of age— a keen sport and a crack shot. He was also at on© time a member of the Taieri Pipe Band. Being of a very genial nature, he made many friends, and was always to the ; fore to help anyone in distress. Lance-corporal -Morton M. Thomson (killed in action on the. 3rdl December) was the second son of Mrs P. A. Thomson, Dunedin., ' He was 22 years of age, and enlisted' with the Twenty-seventh Reinforcements.
