Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. BRISBANE, January 17. The Queensland Government announces its intention of opening a State arsenic mine to produce arsenic at pre-war prices. The mine will bo opened in .the Stanthorpe district.
SYDNEY, January 17. Mr Holman denies receiving a cable from Mr Wade stating that Mr Hughes is going to England, as was alleged by Mr Catts during the vote of censure debate in tho Federal House of Representatives. MELBOURNE, January 17.
(Beceived Jan. 17, at 9' p.m.) Tho debate on the motion of censure on the Hughes Government moved in the Honso of Representatives by Mr Tudor will closo to-morrow. It is certain that the motion will be defeated fty a largo majority.
