■DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE.

National Banks wero in demand yesterday at £5 -5s and Bank of New Zealands (old) at £12, but there was no seller in either case. New Zealand Insurances had a buyer at £7 18s 6d, but no seller was attracted. Westport-Stocktons were quoted over a fairly wide market. A sale of the ordinary issue was reported at 9s, and of the preference at lls 9d. Westport Coals had' a buyer at £1 9s 4d. and a seller at £1 9s 9d. New Zealand Paper Mills were on.the market at 19s without a buyer. The mining market was quiet. There was a buyer of Waihi Grand Junctions at 15s 6d, but sellers wanted 16s.
