TAIERI AND PENINSULA MILK SUPPLY COMPANY.
♦ The thirty-third animal meeting of this company was held yesterday. Mr W. J. Bolt presided over a fair attendance of shareholders and suppliers The balance sheet gave details of a successful year's operations. The annual report set forth that the company would shortly be paying a dividend, and also a further and final payment to suppliers. Daring the year 640 tons of 'butter and 59 tons of cheese were manufactured, and the total quantity of milk purchased for selling purposes as milk and cream for the local town trade was 591,651 gallons. Mr Fairbairn, who retired by rotation, was re-elected as a director, and Mr A. T. Fleming was electcd as a new member of the board. Messrs Wiffiam Brown and Co. were reelected auditors.
