THE HOT SEA WATER BATHS.
Sm,— Being ordered hot sea-water baths and a change of air, I decided that a combination of the two could not be more satisfactorily found than by a sojourn m your beautiful city. Great, therefore, was my surprise and disappointment when I found at tho St. Clair baths this morning that the- hot salt baths were out of order or being repaired—closed, at all events, and no hopes oould be held out of having one during my fortnight here. _ Surely it is rather a disgrace to Dunedm that for, as far as I oould gather, a period of eome months no salt water baths have been or will, be available. It "certainly does not speak well for the energy and public spirit of the City Corporation, which, I understand, is responsible for the state of affairs. I am supposing that the St. Clair baths are the only ones fitted with hot sea water; if there are others available, I should be grateful to have the address. —I am, etc., A Visitob fkom Chkistchtjkch. November 5.
[Unfortunately there are no others.—Ed 0. D. tj
