AMUSEMENTS.

Tho programme at tho Octagon Theatre continues to draw good audiences. Tho leading picture is entitled " Envy," the first of a series of pictures to be screened under the heading, " The Seven Deadly Sins." The plot is well worked out, and the acting leaves nothing to be desired. An excellent comedy, some fine snapshots of topical events, and other features of interest are included in the programme. "The Billet Girl," featuring tho popular aotrrss Alice Brady at her best, is now showing at the Plaza Theatre. This fine picture is admirably supported by an Australian Gazette and a further episode of the submarine serial. A five-reel photo-play, "The Duchess ot P«»M." forms tho chief attraction in tho current programme at tho Empire Theatre. It is ably supported by a number of comedies and an interesting travelogue.
