BAZAAR
DUNDAS STREET METHODIST . CHURCH.
The bazaar in aid of the trust iund of the Dundas Street Methodist Church was opened yesterday in the school hall by Mr Jonathan Rhodes before a good attendance. The hall was elaborately equipped with the usual stalls, all o£ ■which recorded good business. The stalls were controlled as follow :—
Plain "Work.—Mesdames Griffith, Girran, Wilkinson, and Foley. Young Ladies'. Stall—Misses Devme, Corkhiu, ManseU, E. Paul, Ruby Champion, Doris Hugnes. Men's Stall.—Messrs Roberts, King, Young, Paul, and Wilkinson. Sweets.—Misses Cable and Griffith.
Tea Room. —Mesdames King, Arthur, J. Bames, Misses Head, Foley, Sheppherd, Uren.
• Soft Drinks.—Mrs J. Shepherd. •Children's Dips.—Misses Mary GOkisoa, Gladys Varcoe, and Winnie King. Flowers.—Mrs Paul, Misses Paul, Lda Armishaw, and Isabel Gilkison.'
Side Shows and" Competitions.—-Messrs P. H. Young, Belworthy, W. S. O. Griffith. In evening a. good programme o£ musical items was submitted, and was greatly enjoyed by the large attendance. The result of the day's effort was the netting of some £56. The bazaar will be continued this afternoon and evening.
