PRINCESS THEATRE

The Stanhope Revue Company continues to meet with popular approval at the Princess Theatre with its musical burlesque " Safety First." Mr Stanhope as Spike Murphy and Mr Val Newman (Bill Slivers) are responsible for most of the fun-making, and their efforts axe ably seconded by the other members of the versatile company. The Grafters' quartet (Messrs Cashman, Long, Toon, and M'Call) are heard to great advantage in their musical numbers. The setting of the production is very prettily arranged. Apart from the revue, several selection are rendered by Mr Malcolm M'Eachern, who has a fine robust basso voice, and each of his songs met with distinct approval. The other vaudeville artists each present items of individual merit, and the nx-ogramme, ■ taking it all round, is of a most enjoyable character.
