DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE.
There was good demand for HuddartParker shares yesterday at firm prices. Two parcels elianged owners at the first call on 'Change at £1 14s, and there were two further sales in the afternoon at the same price. Another parcel was sold at £1 14s Id, and closing quotations were £1 14s Id and £1 14s 2d, buyer and seller respectively. Banking shares showed a firming tendency. Thero was a buyer of Wcstport Coals at £1 9s, and a seller at £1 9s 9d. Waihi Grand Junction shares wero in demand at 16s Id, but sellers wanted 17s.
