FAREWELL ENTERTAINMENT.

Mrs Arthur Griffiths, who is leaving Dunedin, to take up professional work in Auckland, will give a farewell entertainment of "Laughter, Song, and Story" on Saturday, November 10, in the King's Theatre, assisted by her dramatic students. The programme will include musical monologues, character sketches, playlets, dances, a children's Hallowe'en festival, and an amusing specialty for 30 performers, entitled "Open Night at tho Old Maids' Club." Other itoms include tho betrothal scene from "Tho Tempest" and a story without words. There will also be several purely vocal items.
