Captain John Graham, . whose death in Prance was lately reported, was for many r years employed in the Railway Department, being stationmaster at Otane (Hawke's Bay), and! afterwards at Lincoln (Canterbury). He was always a great enthusiast in military matters, and belonged to the Railway Engineers' Corps. His wife and three children n reside in Pahiatua. d LIEUTENANT EDWARDS. •• Mr J. Edwards received advice by cable yesterday that his son, Lieutenant C. J. K. * Edwards, had died from wounds. Lieutenant Edwards had recently returned to the front after spending four months in hospital in France suffering from trench fever. GUNNER DOWLAND. Official advice has been received by the s relatives of Gunner J. E. Dowland that _he has been admitted to the Thorncliffo Hospital suffering from inflamed connecting tissues of 1- the right arm.
