Tho results obtained during tho four weeks ended August 29 by the Mount Lyell M. and It. Co. (T.) were as follow, and those for tho previous four weeks are added in parentheses for comparison : —Ore treated, 18,757 (15,929) tons—viz., Mount Lyell 12,083 (10.250) tons, North Mount Lyell 6382 (5279) tons, ■ concentrates 292 (400) tons. Blister copper produced 4-51 (417) tons, containing 446 (413) tons copper, 27,145 (21,438) oz. silver, and 653 (548) oz. gold. Tho company's general manager (Mr Robert Sticht) has cabled from America that investigation, by three different experts, proves beyond any doubt that the ore from tho Mount Read and Rose-eery mines is splendidly adapted for treatment by the electrolytic process. It will be recalled that Mr Sticht went to.tho United States in March to supervise tests with a parcel of oro from theso mines. \
