FIGURES FOR WESTERN SAMOA. (Feom Oue Own Cohkesfondent.) WELLINGTON, October 10. The returns of the census taken in _ the territory of Western Samoa under British military occupation as oti July 1, 1917, have been announced. The figures relate to the European and native populations, excluding officials from New Zealand and members of tho occupying force and their families, who arc included in .tho New Zealand census.
