OVERSEAS CLUB.
Work is going on splendidly in the clubroom, with tho result that a record consignment of cases containing soldiers' comforts is now ready for despatch. The ladies have spared no pains in selecting and packing away Christmas gifts for the boye, which will undoubtedly be a great treat to them. Relatives and friends who wish to send parcels through the club to their boys in the trenches must do so without delay in order to reach the donees at Christmas. The committee wishes' to thank all helpers ■who worked so well to make the " Street Day" a pronounced success. Donations of discarded clothing for needy ones locally will bo gratefully received. This is an exceptionally busy time in tho room, and all members are requested to conic forward and aseist. Donations have been received from the Mutual Stores, Mrs Whyte, Mrs Ray, Mr., Graham, Mrs J. Wright, Waiwera South, and cases from Waiwera.
