DUNEDIN DRAINAGE BOARD.

A meeting of the Donedin' Drainage and Sewerage Board wae held yesterday; present —the Mayor (Mr J. J. Clark), Messrs Kellett, Small, Kilpafcrick, Black, Wilson, Shaoklockj and Souet. The St. Kilda Boraagfb Coancil wrote asking that tho bojird proceed with the storm water drainage in tie borough. It waa understood that there was still £1200 to be expended in St. Kilda, and the council would like it spent in completing the storm water drainage in Park Ward, otherwise the loan work in Jhe borougfa -would be held up , indefinitely.-—Referred to the Works Committee to report. Tho tender of Messrs Cossens and Black for 300 mud-tank gratings for placing on tho mud-tanks on the flat was accepted at £573 15s. The tender of Messrs .Maryland and Butters for a drain-in-common in Collego and Peter streets, Cawersham, at £47 17s 6d, was also accepted.
