PEACE PROPOSALS TO BE DISCUSSED.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, August 24. t There are to be 692 delegates, representing 3,100,000 unionists, in attendance at the Trade Union Annual Congress on September 3 at Blackpool (Lancashire)—the largest nnmbef on record.
Many resolutions are on the agenda paper relating to the war and peace. The conference will be asked early to give an opinion of the Stockholm Conference by means of a vote on the selection of the British delegates. Other resolutions will seek to define the congress's attitude towards peace terms, and .Labour's share in framing them.
